Excellent 2008 two CD set that traces the Soul/R&B trio's entire career from their early '60s recordings right through to their last hits in the early and mid '70s. The Supremes were Motown's most successful outfit as well as the most successful female act of the turbulent '60s. Led by the distinctive vocals of Diana Ross, they were a hit-making machine through the second half of the decade before Ross departed for a solo career. Replacing Ross was difficult and the girls soldiered on for a half-dozen years before calling it quits. This double disc collection features 50 tracks from all chapters of their career including 'Where Did Our Love Go', 'Baby Love', 'Back in My Arms Again', 'I Hear a Symphony', 'You Can't Hurry Love' and plenty more. Life would be lonely without The Supremes' music to keep US warm at night. Universal.
